As he looked into the darkened valley ahead, he laid down for a moment to think. The rays of the sun gave warmth and comfort as they reached the outer edges of his body. Would he be able to walk through all this darkness? Was the thing he was looking for really on the other side of this valley? He was a peace seeker with no earthly guide to show him the way, yet deep inside he could feel a nudge and felt the determination bubbled to have the thing he longed for. "Let the dark try and slay me with its tricks" he thought. What the shadows did not know was that his heart, a jaguars heart, burned brighter than any fire or sun ever could try. "Come at me" he growled, exposing his long sharp teeth, and in one explosive movement, with all his fierce might, he ran straight into the darkness and was swallowed up from his previous sight.
